Limited edition print/Poppies at Mrs Findlays cottage

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in editions of 100 prints.

 I used to visit this cottage when I was a child to see Mrs Findlay. My mother had lived next door to her when she first came to Orkney from Glasgow at the age of nineteen. I remember my sister and I used to have to pee in a bucket as there was no toilet! a big shock for us toonies! The cottage lay empty for many years and I often went to paint there. Today it is a self catering house for visitors.
