It is rather tricky to paint moving birds! but the best option is to work on all the birds at the same time by continually moving from one bird to the next and trying to capture the same pose. Luckily for me most of the birds were sitting and you can just see one puffin sitting in its burrow with his head sticking out! But I do have to say that it it was a very special experience to spend time painting these very cute birds on a gorgeous sunny day with 'no wind' and hardly any other people!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe overall framed and glazed size of this painting is 543X317mm. The image is size 370X153mm with a surrounding ivory mount of 55mm in width.
