Original painting framed/Blue beach

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue

This painting has been created using collage along with acrylic paint to create a very textured image on canvas. Sometimes I will start a painting with no idea of what it will become as I did with this painting. I just went with what happened and I especially loved the resulting colours and textures!

The overall size including frame is 350X302mm. The frame is a grey washed wood moulding and is 23mm wide and unglazed. The painting is on canvas and varnished  as I prefer the viewer to see and feel the lovely textures.
