Original painting framed/Diving gulls, Rackwick

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue

This mixed media image has been painted with collage and acrylics. This picture is full of texture and colour, there are touches of gold leaf amongst the grasses. The landscape is at Rackwick, Hoy looking down the valley with Rackwick cliffs in the background. I really like the collage on the cliff, which was made with inks and tissue paper. 

The overall size framed is 485X370mm. The actual image is size 410X290mm and is painted on a thick canvas board. The light pine moulding is width 35mm X 12mm deep. This painting is varnished and unglazed which helps show the lovely textures to their best.
