Happy valley is one of my favourite places to paint. I visit regularly in all seasons, this is Spring when the bluebells are in bloom. I have used a technique called wet on wet in this picture, this is when you allow the watercolour paint to run by wetting the paper first and then dropping the paint on to the page.
