Original painting framed/The Angels share 6

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue

The angels share is the bit of whisky that evaporates through the pores of the oak barrels as the spirit ages. This small painting on canvas was created with acrylic paint, collage and gold leaf. After a recent visit to Orkneys famous distillery, Highland Park Distillery, I was intrigued by this phrase 'The angels share' and this painting is my 'take' on what is called 'The Angels share'.

The small canvas, size 145X115mm is framed and glazed with a grey box frame which can be hung or stand on a surface. The grey moulding is width 15mm and 30mm deep. Overall size framed is 175X125mm.
