Limited edition print/Poppy head

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in editions of 100 prints.

I like to look closely at a subject as I have done with this poppy head. I was very interested in the dark centre with its stemens. These large red poppies grow very well here in Orkney and the wild ones that you see growing in the roadside verge have all come from garden seed heads.
