The explorer Dr John Rae's home/hand finished print

A unique hand finished print by Orkney artist Jane Glue

Each print is hand finished/painted by Jane to produce a unique product. This image has been embellished with gold and coloured acrylic paints. The bead pattern on the bottom right of the picture which represent the Canadian Indian beadwork on John Rae's coat which hangs on the washing line have various pinks, blue's, white and gold acrylic paint added. There is also gold added to the tin roof of the house and John Rae's fiddle which hides below in the grass. Each print is signed by Jane on the front and is an overall size of 405X296mm, this size includes a white border of 12mm.
