Original painting/Orange and purple sunset with gull

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

I think purple is probably my favourite colour. It is certainly the colour of ink that my printer uses up first! I have used a mixture of geli printing, collage and acrylics to create this multi layered original. Amongst the purple and orange colours are touches of vibrant magenta just to help this painting sing! The image has been painted on to a thick canvas board and mounted against a cream mountboard, glazed and framed with a 30mm brown wood wide box moulding, the overall size is 395X310mm.
