When I returned home in 1985 from Art College in London, one of my first commissions was to paint a set of large composite watercolour paintings telling the story of whisky production at the famous Highland Park Distillery on the outskirts of Kirkwall. In those days all the men working at the distillery were out cutting peat in the summertime and my paintings were to tell thier story of making the whisky when visitors toured the building. These paintings are still on their walls 35 yrs later so I was especially pleased to have an exhibition this Autumn in thier shop in Albert street, this time showing newer work using many of the mixed media materials that I have been working with lately.
My exhibition of original work at The Highland Park Distillery shop in Albert st, Kirkwall consists of over twenty new artworks. All are framed and ready to hang. The exhibition runs until the 28th October and is also available to view on line at
