Orkney artist Jane Glue has had her painting 'Rose pink sunset at The Ring of Brodgar' accepted into the 'Scottish Landscape Awards 2025' which is organised by the 'Scottish Arts Trust'. Over 2,100 artists applied and 107 artworks by 105 artists were chosen. Exhibiting artists come from all over the country and represent all stages of artistic practice-from emerging artists at the beginning of their artistic journeys to some of the most eminent artists in Scotland today and aims to break the boundaries of Contemporary landscape art in Scotland.
The exhibition is on from the 5th July to 28th September at Kirkcudbright Galleries, a gallery of national significance located in the Artists town of Kircudbright in South West Scotland. A full colour catalogue of all the exhibition entries can be purchased at www.scottishartstrust.org
