Limited edition print/Groatie buckies on the shore

A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in two editions of 100 prints.

 'Groatie buckie' is the Orkney name for a cowrie shell, they are considered to be very lucky and are a prized shell to find! When I was young we used to find lots of them but it is quite hard to find them today probably because everyone is out 'groatie buckie hunting'!
