Limited edition print/House with a blue roof in Westray, Orkney

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in four editions of 100 prints.

 You often see this lovely bright lime green colour of seaweed lying on the Orkney shoreline. I really liked the composition of the diagonal shoreline and sea shapes in this image. Cobalt blue is one of my favourite colours and the white foamy sea is blank paper with a touch of 'dry brush' to give it some texture.
