This watercolour landscape of the waves rolling in at Dinghieshowe beach in Deerness with the island of Copinsay in the distance is painted with a mixture of watercolour paints and caran d ache(watercolour) soluble crayons. I think the particular light in this painting that you often get in Orkney is really special.
