New! Original artwork/Angel wing

An original re cycled artwork mounted on driftwood by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This driftwood artwork is heavier than you might think as the base is from part of an old wooden fisherman's creel which has a metal rod running through the middle of the wood. A mixture of 'found' objects have been used along with acrylic paint and gold leaf to create this hanging 'sculpture'. These include a ceramic gull, sea urchin pieces and shells including part of a clam shell hence the name 'Angel wing'. The sculpture hangs from a 'found' piece of copper wire which has turned slightly green as copper does when exposed to a long period of light.

The overall size is 570X33mm but if you include the copper hanging it is 120mm in height.
