Original painting/Abstract Shoreline

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

Overall size framed 600X475mm, framed in a 30X30mm white wood box moulding. This beautifully textured abstract painting was inspired by a visit to Rackwick on the island of  Hoy. The marks on the shoreline have been created with gesso, acrylic paint, limpet shells and gold leaf all painted on to a heavy white board panel which has been mounted on to an ivory mount board. This framed painting has been left unglazed but is fully varnished so that the textures can be fully apreciated.
