Limited edition print/The hoy hills with Clestrain in the snow

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt in three print run's of 100.

 This picture features the house of Clestrain standing on the shoreline in Stenness where Orkney's famous arctic explorer, Dr John Rae was born. Dr John Rae also discovered the fate of Sir John Franklins voyage in the Canadian arctic. There are future plans to renovate Clestrain into a museum about Dr John Rae and his achievements. In the distance are The Hoy Hills covered in snow.
