The Old Man of Hoy is a sea stack off the island of Hoy, Orkney folklore tells us that The Old man of Hoy was originally a giant turned to stone! If you travel between Stromness and Scrabster you can see it from the ferry on your way across. I am a very bad sailor so this picture was painted from a photograph I rather quickly took with my phone!
