Limited edition print/Wonderful terns swaying and swooping in the bright morning light

A limited edition print from an original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in three editions of 100 prints.

This image is of the arctic tern colony at North birsay. It is wonderful to see them swooping and diving while feeding their chicks. This was early in the morning and the bright white of the birds feathers stood out brilliantly against the blue sky. The pinks at the bottom of the painting represent the seapinks which grow amongst the lichen on the rock stack where they nest.
