Limited edition print/Bladder wrack seaweed on the shoreline

A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in an edition of 100 prints.

I found this piece of seaweed on the shoreline and took it back to my studio to paint. After a while it began to dry out and create this interesting shape. I used stained tissue paper as collage for the background area to make the seaweed look like it was lying on the sandy shoreline.
