Limited edition print/Blue house with terns, Stenness, Orkney

A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in three editions of 100 prints.

This picture is of the 'Watch' stone in the foreground with a blue wooden house standing above the loch and The Ring of Brodgar in the distance. I have used lots of textures and a bit of artists licence! as I have painted spirals on to the side of the 'Watch' stone. Orcadians call  terns 'Pickie terno's' as they have a habit of diving down and picking your head if you get too close when they are nesting, I always make sure I am wearing a hat!
