Original watercolour unframed/Boardhouse mill

An original watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue

This original was painted as a poster design when I was a student at art college in Londons ago. I spent several days visiting Boardhouse mill in Birsay painting the mill and Fergus who was the miller at the time. You will notice that there is some text overlay on the image, this is printed on acetate and can be removed but I left it attached as I thought it gave a nice story to the overall image. The images have been painted using ink and watercolour paint and although unframed, there is a cream mount surrounding the painting.

The painting is on watercolour paper which has been dry mounted on to mountboard. The mount itself is slightly marked and the painting would benefit from a second mount. 

The overall size of this image including the cream mount is 600X430mm.
