Limited edition print/Going fishing, Birsay

A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in four editions of 100 prints.

This area of Birsay is just below The Brough of Birsay looking towards Marwick head. I was very lucky on this Spring day to be on the beach when these two fishermen arrived to launch thier boat with thier old grey 'fergie' tractor. This image was created by adding lots of different collage papers to heavy watercolour paper along with washes of acrylic paint and brown ink.
