A unique hand finished print by Orkney artist Jane Glue

This hand finished print is of the stained glass window above the entrance doorway of St Magnus cathedral in Kirkwall. I love the wonderful bright colours in this relatively new window which was completed about thirty years ago. The magenta and rose pink colours in particular seem to 'sing'! I have added my own photographic collage of gargoyles which are found throughout this magnificent redstone building which was erected by the vikings around 1137. A long time ago!

Each print is hand finished/painted by Jane making each one into a unique work of art. This image has been embellished with gesso, acrylic paints and gold leaf which gives a lovely added texture. The print is signed and titled by Jane Glue on the front of the image and is an overall size of 420X300mm or A3, this size includes a small white border of 3mm. This print comes backed with board and wrapped in cellophane.
