Original mixed media painting/ Abstract shoreline

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This colourful abstract landscape painting is of the high cliffs and rocky shoreline in Birsay and is painted with a mixture of black indian ink, acrylic paint and water soluble neo crayons. I often use a 'found' stick to draw with along with my old fashioned dip pen which gives me different thicknesses of line and I recently 'discovered' the acrylic paint colour 'opera rose' which I love and have used in this image.

The overall size of this mixed media painting framed and glazed is 425X720mm. The image size is 225X515mm and is mounted with an ivory mountboard width 70mm. The frame is made of pine wood and is width 30mm and 25mm deep. This painting is fitted with d-rings and cord ready to hang on your wall.
