Original artwork/Angel wing

An original re cycled artwork on driftwood by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This driftwood artwork is heavier than you might think as the base is originally from part of an old wooden fisherman's creel which has a metal rod running through the middle of the wood. I have added a mixture of 'found' objects such as a ceramic gull, sea urchin shell and part of a large Clam shell to this long piece of driftwood. The artwork has then been finished with touches of acrylic paint and gold leaf. This driftwood sculpture hangs from a 'found' piece of copper wire which has turned slightly green as copper does when exposed to long periods of light.

The overall size is 570X33mm but if you include the copper hanging it is 120mm in height.
