Original artwork/Butterfly box

An original mixed media artwork consisting of a vintage type set box filled with twenty four small paintings and vintage artefacts inserted into each rectangular space. Painted with a mixture of collage, acrylic paint and gold leaf. The artefacts include a vintage heart shaped key, vintage 1940's buttons, a bone hare brooch, three vintage metal and paste brooches, a butterfly shaped tin and two butterfly brooches, an oval ornate brass frame and a small brass framed mirror. The wooden box is an overall size of 365mmwideX285mmdeepX30mmwidth. The box has a brass hanger on the back and is finished with gold leaf on the lefthandside.
