Original mixed media painting/Rockpool colours

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This original mixed media picture of rockpool colours is painted on to heavy watercolour board using a mixture of watercolours, gesso and 'found' items from the shoreline such as shells, pottery and sea glass. It is always fascinating to peer into rockpools on the Orkney shoreline just like this one at The Brough of Birsay.

The painting is an overall size of 570X450mm and has been framed and glazed with a 30mm wide white wood box moulding.
