Limited edition print/Poppy field

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in editions of 100 prints

This image is of one of my favourite flower subjects, poppies. Although these flowers grow wild all over Orkney they are not the wild version of red poppy and have actually escaped from surrounding gardens. I have used lots of red watercolour paint which has been dropped into wet paper, this technique causes the paint to create 'blooms' when the wet colour merges.
