NEW! Limited edition print/Puffin at sunset

A limited edition print from an original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

These small little characters are one of my favourite birds and we are very lucky in Orkney to be able to see many hundreds of them during the summer months particularly at Burrian castle in Westray where this puffin was basking in the brilliant pink, purple and yellow colours of an early evening sunset. This image is full of texture created by adding a substance called 'gesso' on to a heavy watercolour paper before painting over with acrylics. I have to say this is one of my own personal recent favourite paintings as I think the colours are stunning let alone the subject matter!

All prints are presented on Fuji Matt C-type paper.
