Limited edition print/Summer Daisies

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in an edition of 100 prints.

 Ox-eye daisies are one of my favourite flowers. I have begun this picture by painting the daisies with masking fluid which saves the white of the paper for me. I then use the  'wet on wet' watercolour technique to drop my colour on to an already damp page to create the soft colours of the background. Once the paint is dry I rub away the fluid and paint in the yellow centres of each daisy.
