Limited edition print/The last of the Seapinks

A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in three editions of 100 prints.

 I used some 'found' rusted paper from a discarded bonfire to represent the foreground soil in this image. Seapinks or 'Curly doddies' as they call them here grow on and around our cliffs here in Orkney. This watercolour picture was painted towards the end of the summer, when their bright pink flower heads are fading, hence the title.
