A limited edition print/Beach stones

A limited edition print from an original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue in three editions of 100 print runs.

The original painting of this close up of beach stones was initially drawn out with oil crayons and ink before painting the image with watercolours. I really like the blue stone in the middle of this image! I always find it fascinating that every Orkney shoreline has its own special colour of sand and rocks depending on the geology of the area.
