Limited edition print/Creel boat reflections

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in three editions of 100 prints.

 I have 'hung' around Kirkwall harbour or the 'basin' as Orcadians call it all of my life. As a child I lived nearby with my family and my sister and I spend many hours playing around the Cornslip. Being a parent today I don't think I would have encouraged such behaviour with my own daughter when she was young! But it did leave me with a lifetime love affair of small wooden hulled boats which I am grateful for. This abstract image is of the colours and reflections of one of those creel boats.
