Limited edition print/For the green shutters fall

A limited edition print from an original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in three editions of 100 prints.

I love the turquiose green colour of the sea on a bright sunlit day. Even though this was a sunny day, it was very windy, a common occurence here in Orkney! This image is at The Brough of Birsay where you often see these huge rollers or 'white horses'.  I have used a mixture of my own collage and acrylic paint with added text from a poem by Orkney poet Edwin Rendall. 'The green shutters' are what Edwin calls the huge rollers that fold like shutters.
