Original painting/Auld hoose

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This original mixed media painting is on a heavy deckled edge watercolour paper. This derelict house stands at the top of Laing st in Kirkwall. I tried to imagine the house being full of life rather than derelict so I have added in various bits of collage to create that feeling.

The painting is framed and glazed with a 30mm wide wood box moulding. The painting has been mounted flat on to a cream mountboard and I have left the deckled edges showing around the painting. The overall size is 610X510mm.
