Original painting/Ice rockpool

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This original painting is painted on 'Two Rivers' deckled handmade round shaped heavy watercolour paper using a mixture of watercolour paint, gesso, gold leaf and my own printed collage. This image was inspired by winter rockpools which were covered with a thin layer of ice creating these unusual patterns and textures.

The painted is framed and glazed in a 30mm wide white wood box moulding with the picture itself mounted on to a cream mountboard. The overall size is 555X555mm.
