A limited edition print from a mixed media original painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This picture is one of a set of four especially painted for an exhibition at Barony Mill in Birsay, Orkney called 'Old Grain, New Eyes'. All the artists exhibiting were asked to produce work in response to this rare working mill which is full of history and atmosphere. 

I loved the sound of the Mill wheel turning around and around splashing water and making the shapes and colours in this image. I have added some collage of an old photograph of 'stooks' in a field behind which helps to add to the wonderful atmosphere on this bright sunny day in Birsay. 

All prints are presented on Fuji Matt C-type paper.
