Limited edition print/Rough sea at Warebeth, Orkney

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in three print run's of 100.

 This watercolour print of the coastline at Warebeth with the Kame of Hoy beyond  is all about the colour blue! My palette is mainly made up of Ultramarine blue, mixed with a small amount of Indian red and a little lemon yellow. Ultramarine blue creates a granulated affect when mixed with other colours which enables me to obtain the richness of the sky and the darks in the cliff. Any white is the paper white which has been saved with masking fluid before I begin to paint.
