Limited edition print/Wild sea, Orkney

A Limited edition print from an original watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue in two separate editions of 100 prints.

There is nothing more beautiful than a wild Orkney seastorm, especially in the incredible Orkney light as in this image. These sea cliffs are on the west coast of Orkney opposite Skaill beach where the neolithic village of Skara Brae stands. I can only imagine an even more powerful sea storm in 1850 when the grass and sand were stripped away to reveal the outline of Skara Brae's stone built houses.
