Jane studied at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen from 1975-76 and Harrow school of art, London from 1982-85, graduating with an HND in Art and design/Illustration. She opened her own gallery, Shorelines, in Kirkwall, Orkney on returning home in 1987. In 2005 she moved to her studio/gallery-shop in the village of Finstown. She has sold her prints, original work and other products worldwide. Jane moved to her new studio in Kirkwall at The Creative Hub, Hatston in 2016 and in 2019 she launched a new website www.janeglue.com celebrating over 35yrs of artwork. The website sells a wide range of limited edition prints and other products produced from her artwork. There is also a range of new original work for sale.
Jane is a member of the Aberdeen Arts Society and The Royal Glasgow Institute of art.
