This picture was exhibited in The Royal Watercolour Society's annual exhibition in Edinburgh. The bus lay at Lyness in Hoy for a long time but has since been broken up. I just liked the idea of the bus being a huge nest for the blackbirds. I used a lot of papers for the texture in this picture along with acrylics and silver paint.
