NEW! Original mixed media painting/Rackwick colours

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

Rackwick is on the island of Hoy in Orkney and is a favourite place of mine to paint. This picture was painted in April and I love the dark moody feel of the high cliff which dominates the valley. Tucked below the cliff is The bothy of Burnmouth where visitors can find shelter and camp. I have used a mixture of watercolours, an indigo drawing stick(I was given in Mexico) and several pieces of vintage paper from a music sheet to paint the image.

The overall size framed is 560X368mm including a 60mm ivory mount. The actual image size is 380X195mm and the painting is framed with a washed light grey wood moulding 30mm deep and 30mm wide.
