Original mixed media artwork/Butterfly box

An original mixed media artwork by Orkney artist Jane Glue consisting of a wooden vintage type set box filled with twenty four small unique paintings and vintage artefacts inserted into each rectangular space. I have painted each 'painting' in a mixture of collage, acrylic paint and gold leaf. The vintage artefacts include a vintage heart shaped key, vintage 1940's buttons, a bone 'hare' brooch, three vintage metal and paste brooches, a butterfly shaped tin and two butterfly brooches, an oval ornate brass frame and a small brass framed mirror.

The wooden vintage type set box is an overall size of 65mmwideX285mmdeepX30mmwidth and has a brass fitting on the back for hanging on your wall. The leftside of the wooden box has been finished with gold leaf.
