A print from an acrylic painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt
I really let my imagination flow when I painted this picture. The original was very big. I used a large paintbrush to paint a watery painting. The paper was in a vertical position which allowed the paint to drip down the painting as if it were a rainy day. This is not a particular place but the 'feeling' of Orkney in the wintertime. The waves were added in at the end of the picture using thick white acrylic paint along with a toothbrush to create the 'spume'!
