Limited edition print/Poppies at The Ouse, Finstown, Orkney

A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in three editions of 100 prints

These wild poppies were growing in the roadside verge near the Ouse at Finstown. In the background you can see the old Finstown mill along with Binscarth house and woods sitting on the top of the hillside in the distance. This original was very heavily textured with lots of added tissue paper to help create the red poppy heads.
