Limited edition print/Quick silvered by the shinning morning

A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in three editions of 100 prints.

This mixed media print is full of colour and texture created by adding lots of different collage papers mixed with heavy acrylic paint. Hiding amongst the waves is a line from a poem by Orkney poet Robert Rendall whom I am a big fan of, I just love his use of descriptive words. Robert had a small writing studio near The Brough of Birsay which is where I was inspired by to paint this image.
