The forgotten Island of Swona
A limited edition print from an original watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt
I had a brilliant day visiting the abandoned island of Swona a few years ago. These are a few of the abandoned cottages still there. You can also see the old stone sea dyke with a rusty metal buoy and 'ragged robin' flowers in the foreground. If you travel to Orkney with Pentland Ferries, you can see the island from the boat.
