Limited edition print/The Standing Stones at Stenness

A limited edition print from an original watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue in three editions of 100 print runs.

This image is of Orkney's famous neolithic site, 'The Standing Stones of Stenness'. This smaller group of Standing Stones are 500 yrs older than Orkney's more famous stone circle, 'The Ring of Brodgar' which was built around 3100 BC, the same time as 'Stonehenge' in Wiltshire making them one of the earliest stone circles in Britain.
