NEW! Original mixed media painting/Oats and Cobwebs

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This painting was inspired by a visit to Barony Mill in Birsay, one of the last working mills in the UK today. I was intrigued by the fine dusting of milled flour throughout the building and especially lying over this large mechanical screw which was part of the mill equipment and  covered in fine cobwebs. I used a mixture of acrylic paint, collage and oil crayons to paint this picture which has been framed and glazed with a light ivory mount and grey wood moulding.

The overall framed size is 450X570mm, this includes a 55mm wide mount and 30mm wide moulding. The actual image size is 280X400mm.
